The story
The idea for this picture originated in London.
The first time I was there, I immediately felt that the city held little stories everywhere. Especially in Notting Hill, among all the colorful houses, the small streets, and the bookstores, where time seems to move a little slower.
One day I found myself standing in that very bookstore, surrounded by old and new book spines, warm light, and soft music playing in my headphones. And there it was: a feeling of security. That's exactly the feeling I wanted to capture: "Those little moments when you're simply present and yet still feel seen."
