My Story
Having grown up in a small town, I discovered my passion for painting at an early age.
I first visited my grandparents in Vietnam when I was six years old and I still remember the curtain made of a thousand origami cranes I had folded myself.
My aunt told me that if you fold a thousand origami cranes, a wish will come true. As a child, this idea fascinated and enchanted me so much that I still take these paper cranes with me on my travels to this day.
I received my very first paints as a gift at a flea market. That was the start of my art journey, the moment I began to paint.
Sometimes it wasn't easy. I had doubts, compared myself to other artists, and wondered what "my style" actually was. But in the end, I learned to simply paint what brings me joy and feels right to me.
Recurring motifs like the origami crane metaphorically symbolize the evolution of life for me. The idea that a sheet of paper, shaped over time by its experiences, eventually becomes a free bird simply fascinates me.
My ideas often come to me quite spontaneously. Sometimes even at three in the morning, when everything is quiet. Then I make myself a cup of tea, light a candle, listen to music, and maybe write a few lines in my journal.
I love to write down letters or thoughts in these moments and simply let my ideas flow.
I'm excited to see where this journey will lead and would be very happy if you continue to accompany and support me on this path.
A special thank you goes to my mother and my little brother for always supporting me on this journey and giving me the courage to continue.
Why I paint “Soulmates”
I enjoy painting to capture the small, fragile moments that are often overlooked in everyday life. These quiet moments between people—a movement, a glance, a feeling—are, for me, what connects us.
The figures in my pictures have no faces, so that every person can find themselves in them, no matter where in the world they are.
I want my art to remain open, to provide space for personal memories and feelings.
For your memories and a piece of security and warmth.
My Goal
It is my dream to share my art and the creative process behind it with others.
My wish is to touch people with my art and to build bridges between those who feel, even if they don't know each other.
Art should be accessible to everyone, and I want to give people a glimpse "behind the scenes" of my work. My motto is that you can create art even with limited resources and opportunities. On platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, I let the world participate in the creation of my works.
